Temperature Monitoring

Most DDLs display minimum and maximum temperatures.

• Check and record the minimum and maximum temperatures at the start of each workday.
• If the DDL doesn’t display the min/max temperatures:
  • Check and record the current temperature at the start and end of each workday.
  • Review the continuous DDL temperature data daily.

Document temperatures using the appropriate log: 

• Temperature logs (C° or F°) for freezers 
• Temperature logs (C° or F°) for refrigerators 

Save documentation for 3 years, unless your state/local jurisdiction requires a longer time period.
