About Protein Subunit Vaccines

Protein subunit vaccines use pieces (proteins) of the virus that causes COVID-19 instead of the entire virus

Once vaccinated, our bodies recognize that the protein should not be there and build antibodies that will remember how to fight the virus that causes COVID-19 if we are infected in the future

The vaccine does not contain any live virus and cannot give you COVID-19 disease
