Additional Doses

People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may receive 1 or more additional doses at least 8 weeks (2 months) following the last recommended dose.

  • Ages 5 and older: Administer any age-appropriate vaccine

Use clinical judgement of a health care provider and personal preference and circumstances to determine if further additional doses after the 1st additional dose are needed.

Additional doses should be administered at least 8 weeks (2 months) after the last COVID-19 vaccine dose.
