Product Interchangeability 

Children 6 months–4 years should receive all vaccine doses from the same manufacturer.

People 12 years and older who received a first dose of Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine should complete the 2-dose series with Novavax vaccine.

People ages 5 years and older who are moderately or severely immunocompromised should receive a 3-dose series using vaccines from the same manufacturer.

Exceptions:

• The same vaccine is not available at the vaccination site at the time of the clinic visit
• The previous dose is unknown
• The person would otherwise not complete the primary series
• A person starts but is unable to complete a primary series with the same COVID-19 vaccine due to a contraindication
