Considerations for Persons with Moderate to Severe Immune Compromise

People with immunocompromising conditions or people who take immunosuppressive medications or therapies are at increased risk for severe COVID-19

Because the immune response following COVID-19 vaccination may differ in people who are moderately or severely immunocompromised, specific guidance is provided regarding number of doses, timing, and the need for revaccination

Individuals can self-attest to their moderately to severely immunocompromised status and receive COVID-19 vaccine doses wherever vaccines are offered. Vaccinators should not deny COVID-19 vaccination to a person due to lack of documentation
