Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is comprised of 15 medical and public health experts who develop vaccine recommendations for the United States.

The ACIP's recommendations are forwarded to CDC's Director and, once adopted, become official CDC policy.

The recommendations stand as public health guidance for the safe use of vaccines and related biological products.

Meetings are open to the public and available via live webcast.
