Guidelines about using the NCC archive
The documents in this archive are intended for use by the NCC and its partners. Since the archive is accessed with a generic username and password, it is easy for anyone who has these codes to enter at anytime. Please take site security seriously and use discretion when sharing codes to the site.
Once you are in the archive you can open files and read them in your Web browser. However, you cannot work with them or change them online. To do that, you can download documents to your computer’s hard drive.
Working with archive documents on your computer
To work with documents in the archive, open the file and save it on your computer. Changes you make will be saved on your computer, not on the document in the archive. If you are working with others to update a document for the archive, share the document through email. Only final, approved documents can be included in the archive.
Adding documents to the archive
One-to-one communication between the point of contact (POC) and the PRC Program office makes posting documents efficient and consistent. When working on a document to be included in the archive, establish your POC and have that person only send completed and approved documents to the appropriate PRC Program staff member.
When naming a file to be shared via the archive, always include the file creator or author, document name, and the final date, e.g.:
- Microsoft Word document format:
file creator_document name_month-day-year.doc
- Microsoft Word document example:
Fund Development _2009 Executive Report_04-18-2010.doc
Please note that it will take between (4-6) business days to post the new document.
