When deciding between the use of LITE or full templates it is often at the discretion of the project manager to determine which templates are most appropriate for them to best manage their project. In the case of the following templates no formal LITE versions exist.

• Change Management Plan Template
  The primary purpose of a change management plan is to document standards and  processes for submitting, documenting, reviewing, and addressing project changes. It identifies who plays what role and who has what authority throughout the change management process.

• Communication Management Plan Template
  The primary purpose of a communication management plan is to document the project's structure and methods of information collection, screening, formatting, and distribution. It also outlines understanding among project teams regarding their actions and the defined processes necessary to facilitate communication among people, ideas, and project information.

• Quality Management Plan Template
  The primary purpose of a quality management plan is to document both quality assurance and quality control procedures that address project quality standards. The plan defines the project's policies, objectives, principles, responsibilities, and accountability as it relates to project quality and outlines how the project team will implement, perform, and measure those policies.

• Risk Management Plan Template
  The primary purpose of a risk management plan is to document the project's standards and processes for conducting risk management activities such as risk identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring and controlling, and reporting.

If appropriate, a subset of the full template may be used however, in any case that full templates far exceed the information requirements of the project, the bare minimum information necessary to manage that project may be documented within the Project Management Plan.
